ALBERT MANGELSDORFF PRIZE

ALBERT MANGELSDORFF PRIZE

The Albert Mangelsdorff Prize is awarded annually by the German Jazz Union to an outstanding musical personality on the local jazz scene. This year’s winner was the pianist Aki Takasa for her life's work and her services to jazz in Germany. After the ceremony she and her band treated the eager audience to a concert they will certainly remember for a long time to come.
