In this section I answer some common questions concerning my conditions and methods of work. In case there is a question that I haven't answered below, please feel free to contact me; I will be happy to answer all Your queries. 

WHAT ARE YOUR PRICES?
The cost per one hour of a wedding shoot is € 150 which includes my transfer within Berlin, my equipment, post-production and business costs. This price does not include travel fees or possible accommodation outside of Berlin.
Depending on the type of event and the end use, my prices will vary for event coverage. To receive a specific quote, please don’t hesitate to contact me via email or through the Message Form in the Contact section.

DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH SMALL WEDDINGS?
Absolutely. It will be a pleasure to photograph your civil ceremony or just take your portraits at the wedding. There is however a minimum shooting time of 2 hours.

DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH LGBTQ+ WEDDINGS?
Absolutely. I consider myself an ally of the LGBTQ+ community and firmly believe that love is love. So if you’re gay, lesbian, trans, non-binary, etc., it would be a pleasure to photograph your nuptials.

DO YOUR TRAVEL OUTSIDE OF BERLIN AND ABROAD?
Of course. I love to travel, meet new people and experience new places. So don’t hesitate to let me know what Your vision is and where Your dream wedding will be and I will figure out how to meet You there. To lessen my environmental impact I always prioritize trains and buses over planes and cars.

DO YOU WORK ON YOUR OWN?
At most smaller weddings yes, but it is true that having a second shooter provides additional certainty that all the crucial moments are captured. Working as a team also gives me extra support during portrait sessions and in making sure everything runs smoothly and without interruption in coverage.

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
I shoot with Canon cameras and use only prime lenses. Depending on specific needs, I also hire specialised equipment.

DO YOU HAVE A BACKUP CAMERA?
Yes.

WHAT LANGUAGES DO YOU SPEAK?
I speak English, German, Polish and Czech, and I understand quite bit of French (something I am planning to improve.)

WOULD WE HAVE TO MEET YOU IN PERSON BEFORE THE WEDDING?
No, that is not necessary.

CAN YOU ORGANIZE A PHOTO BOOTH?
Of course, but due to practical reasons I only offer it when I work with at least a second shooter allowing one of us to photograph the guests and the other to service the booth. We can create a booth from scratch or let You make Your own DIY photo booth. The second option is cheaper and would give You complete control over the final look of the background. In this case only the lighting would be set up by us.
Alternatively, if an automatic photo booth is what You are after, I will be happy to provide You with addresses of some of the companies that supply them for events.
No matter what Your preference is, a photo booth is a great way to photograph all Your friends and family and improve the fun factor in general, so You should definitely consider having one. For more details, don't hesitate to contact me.

HOW LONG DO WE NEED TO WAIT FOR PHOTOS?
For wedding photos - up to one month. It sounds like a long time but the necessary image adjustments on hundreds of photos take time and I want to be sure I provide you with the best possible end result. However I will do all I can to deliver the images as soon as possible. And just to make the wait a bit more bearable I will send You 3-5 photographs within 48 hours of the wedding to share with Your friends or family.
For event photos - I will try to deliver the images to You as soon as possible. How quick will depend on the form, size, length and significance of the event itself.

HOW MANY IMAGES WILL WE RECEIVE?
It will depend on the type of event and the required post-production. From an hour long shoot You can expect to receive anywhere from 50 to 100 images.

HOW WILL WE RECEIVE THE PHOTOS?
You will be sent an email with links for download.

DO YOU RETOUCH YOUR IMAGES?
Yes, I do make minor adjustments to bring out the natural beauty in the portrayed persons. However my goal is always to capture a true and honest portrait of the couples I work with.

WILL WE BE ABLE TO RECEIVE THE ORIGINAL RAW FILES?
Raw files are like raw ingredients that are used to create a wonderful meal and on their own do not give the full taste of the final dish. They are a base on which I form my images and once they serve their purpose they are like an element that has been blended into the mix and cannot be separated. So to keep up with my standards I will provide You with the final, tasty selection of photographs that will leave you satisfied and happy and keep the raw files in my digital pantry.

COULD WE APPLY OUR OWN CHANGES TO THE IMAGES ONCE WE RECEIVE THE HIGH RESOLUTION PHOTOGRAPHS?
The images You receive will be the final version of the photos and are not intended to be altered. However You can always contact me with a request to make specific adjustments to the images after they have been delivered.

WILL WE BE ABLE TO PRINT THE IMAGES OURSELVES?
Yes. Once You receive the final digital images You will be able to make as many paper prints as You need for non-commercial use.

DO YOU ALSO CREATE WEDDING ALBUMS?
Currently it is not part of my standard service but I will be happy to create a printed album for an additional fee or alternatively recommend websites which make the creation of Your own perfect photo album a simple and fun process.

WILL OUR PHOTOS BE PUBLISHED ONLINE?
As a visual artist it is essential to show my work to the wider public. In the past, photographers would have had huge photo albums that anyone could see by coming by the photo studio; times however have changed and most of us look for all sorts of businesses online before we even step out of our homes. This leaves only one viable option for photographers to attract new costumers and that is by showing the most recent and modern imagery online. You yourself are perhaps here to view my portfolio to see if I am up to the task of photographing your wedding.
I understand that this can mean Your privacy is affected but I am always very respectful of you as a couple, the photos I post are carefully chosen, I never post surnames and if there are any individual images that You would prefer for me not to use, You will have the last word. You will also have the option to completely withdraw your permission at any point before or after the wedding, in which case however I reserve the right to charge You € 250 (for website) & € 100 (for social media) as a reimbursement for lost revenue.

ARE WE FREE TO USE THE IMAGES AS WE SEE FIT?
Our contract will outline the specific use for the photographs.

WILL WE HAVE A CONTRACT?
Absolutely for wedding photography. Ahead of the wedding we will sign an agreement detailing the terms of service.

DO YOU PRACTICE OTHER TYPES OF PHOTOGRAPHY?
